West Sussex Manor Estate

Set within the rolling countryside of West Sussex is the beautiful new build West Sussex Manor House. We worked closely with the client to begin developing the construction drawings, refining the design.

Being influenced by Georgian architecture and working intuitively with the existing landscape, a sweeping driveway leads down from the gated entrance to the main building, the Manor House. Flanked by a collection of thoughtfully designed outbuildings, including a traditional gatehouse, the estate blends classic charm with modern functionality.

Entering the site, the change in levels drop down to the woodlands in the distance, immediately providing the opportunity to take advantage of the views created at the rear. With symmetrical rendered facades and large, original style, weighted timber sash windows, the elevated views create breathtaking and serene panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

With the essence of luxury, the spacious interiors in the West Sussex Manor House provide warmth and comfort with high ceilings, bespoke joinery and furniture encompassing the classical aesthetic. A single storey side wing in brickwork with flemish bond integrates a boot room, gym and garage.

Encircling the Manor House, the carefully landscaped gardens are curated as an extension of the property and style, that includes a geometric formal arrangement with mixed planting beds and a central water fountain, an avenue of trees leading to a folly, a pool with hard landscaping and manicured lawns with hedgerows.

Throughout the Design and Build procurement, we have continued to work with both the contractor and the client, bringing the design to life. Embracing traditional and modern materials and construction techniques, the build and design is sensitive to its surroundings and the client's needs, embracing classical design with contemporary family life.
